Gospel Truth Quartet

The Gospel Truth Quartet has been singing praises to the Lord Jesus Christ for over forty years. Fans in the Temecula area eagerly attend and often fill to capacity the monthly Southwest Gospel Concerts that they host. The Gospel Truth Quartet is led by Frank Hartog, who founded the group in 1959 and later sung with the Songfellows and The Gospel Lads quartets.

Revised Standard Version

Songfellows Quartet

Bob Jones Sr., a member of the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame, formed the quartet in San Diego in 1944. One of the original members was another Hall of Fame member, Earl Weatherford. Together they developed a style of quartet singing that influenced an entire generation of quartets, including the Weatherfords, Imperials and the Cathedrals. Bob Sr. was active in the quartet until he passed away at the age of 93. He was still singing on the main stage of the National Quartet Convention at 91 years of age. His son, Bob Jones Jr. joined the quartet as a teenager and is still active as manager and lead singer.

The Weatherfords

The Weatherfords is one of the longest consecutive running groups in gospel music history.  This group features Lily Fern Weatherford, with over 65 consecutive years on the road and over 70 recorded albums;  Steven Earl Weatherford, with the group for over 34 years; and Cody Boyd, a young, impressive talent.
